Artist in Residence - Devils Fork State Park

Lynne was privileged to be an artist in residence and our family thoroughly enjoyed the experience with her! Recently she presented a pair of 32”x50” photographs printed on satin fabric to Ranger Rowdy. A huge thanks to the staff for all their support during our stay. We highly recommend a stay at the Villas. Bring your boat and enjoy the beauty!

On the left is Laurel Fork Falls and on the right is Wrights Creek Falls, both are popular boating spots on the beautiful Lake Jocassee.

It was really difficult to select from all the pictures taken. In the end the waterfalls were selected because of their iconic status around the lake. Below are several other pictures from around the lake.

Jumping Off Rock at Sunset

Lastly, the family had a grand time! The Grandchildren swam, slid down rocks, swam under waterfalls, jumped off rocks, fished and knee boarded for the first time. They saw Bad Creek, Whitewater River, Thompson River, Bear Camp Creek, Horsepasture River and Toxaway River and portions of the Foothills Trail. Yes, we slept good at night and many memories were made!

We will be placing some of the Lake Jocassee pictures on our web site in the portfolios section - new releases. Also, we will be taking a few Jocassee prints to our next show: Aikens’ Makin’ on Friday and Saturday September 6th and 7th. Let us know if you are interested in any of these satin fabric prints. We would be happy to work with you! Below is a button that takes you to our store. Please call if you’re interested in any piece. The 60” wide pieces are available for local pick up or at shows due to the “oversize” shipping expense. Thanks for sharing our experiences with you!
