We are remiss for not posting sooner, but we had an interesting field trip to Jekyll Island back in July. We really enjoyed our field trip and the island has changed since our last visit about 30 years ago! We found the island very bike friendly. One day we logged 17.5 miles. That day started early as we wanted to catch Driftwood Beach at daybreak. We were able to capture two shots that we have printed for our Fall Shows, both are 37” x 60” printed on satin fabric.
Later in the day we circled back to Boneyard Beach. As we admired the tree at a higher tide, a local photographer told us that the tree was the most photographed tree in Georgia. We are not too sure about that “fact” but it is a recognizable site. Below is the shot. We printed it 24” x 24”.
Later in July, Lynne was selected as artist in residence at Devils Fork State Park on Lake Jocassee where we spent a week. Next week we will deliver the art to Ranger Rowdy and we’ll also post another blog with a few of the images the we printed from our fantastic week.
Fall Show season is quickly approaching! Our next show is:
Aiken’s Makin’ on Friday and Saturday September 6th and 7th. Hope to see you there!
You can also view our web site by using the button below. We will be adding these to the New Releases on the store soon. Please remember that the 60” wide pieces are offered at shows or local pick up only due to the high oversize shipping cost. Please call to order and we can work out delivery.
