Back in 2019, we took several field trips to photograph Rosetta Spoonbills. After multiple trips, we obtained a few good photographs. However, we saw photographs of Rosetta’s on the nest and we knew that we would be chasing Rosey again! Recently, we were able to find some nesting Rosetta’s and their mating plumage did not disappoint! Hopefully we’ll get to go again and see some chicks, soon!
The colors were amazing! We’re working on printing and releasing one of our new Rosey pictures. It should look great with the satin fabric process. We’re so excited to plan our next episode of chasing Rosey. It would be amazing to see the chicks on the nest! Discovering these unique birds has been a reminder of how creative our Creator is!
Next Weekend, we will be participating in the Columbia Open Studio sponsored by 701 CCA. Our home studio at 106 Noble Court in Lexington, SC will be open Saturday and Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm. We will have our tent up in addition to our studio. We hope to see you! Below is a link with a map to the other open studios participating and a link to Trotter Arts store. Have fun exploring!
